The Tri-Council granting agencies have announced the launch of the 2017-2018 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) competition. To get detailed information regarding the application process, the internal deadline dates, and the evaluation process, please consult the attached memo.
Additionally, the Research Management Services is organizing a workshop to provide information and guidance to applicants, supervisors, as well as referees who will be involved in preparing an application to the 2017-2018 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships competition.

The primary goal of the CIP is to foster the development of clinician investigators by providing a formal postgraduate medical education pathway that fulfils the existing specialty/subspecialty requirements of the Royal College and provides, in addition, a minimum of two years of structured rigorous research training.
